Bachelor of Science in Applied Statistics (Special Program)

Statistics is an essential tool used in almost all areas of research, especially those that deal with numbers or data. Thus, statistics can be applied in daily life and other fields of study. This curriculum was last revised in B.E. 2561 mainly in response to the growing demand for scientifically and technologically oriented statistics specialists capable of making advancements that will help put Thailand ahead of our international competitors. Our adjustments were made in accordance with the Thai Qualifications Framework for Higher Education (TQF). We have revised the course descriptions in our curriculum to match current trends and advancements within the field. In addition, the minor courses in actuarial science have been revised to better fulfill the current requirements of the Society of Actuaries and prepare graduates for work in the insurance industry.
