Research Activities

Research of our program covers a board spectrum of statistical topics, including some subjects in mathematics and industrial engineering. Every year, our faculties are sponsored by The Thailand Research Fund (TRF), government, and our university. Our research publications draw attention across academia and industries in Thailand. We established strong collaboration in research with academic partners from the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Currently, our program supports Ph.D. candidates to conduct one-year research at North Carolina State University, Montana State University, and the University of Regina. The department of mathematics and statistics strongly encourages both undergraduate and graduate students to apply their knowledge learned from classroom to solve practical problems. Since we founded the statistical consulting center, our students have been helping to provide statistical analyses and interpretations for research across specialties from medical, dental, agricultural, to environmental research. We are honored to collaborate with other departments to bring vital research to life.
